"PlayStation 4 players will also be able to simultaneously use Spotify and play games, enabling you to "soundtrack [your] gaming sessions".

"As you'll be able to link directly to your Spotify account from your device, you'll also be able to subscribe to Spotify Premium via your PSN wallet."

Summary of source: I am so happy with this recent partnership between sony and spotify because the ability to play games and listen to your favorite music is genious. Spotify is a very popular app on iphones and androids today and now that it will be on my favorite gaming console just adds to the great experience that spotify already gives me.

Evo 2015 is here!

Source: IGN.COM http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/01/21/evo-2015-lineup-revealed

Pitcher, J. (Ed.). (2015, January 20). Evo 2015 Lineup Includes Tekken 7 on Arcade - IGN. Retrieved January 23, 2015, from http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/01/21/evo-2015-lineup-revealed
Summary: IGN is a very trusted internet website for gamers to view game reviews, tv show reviews, and articles on there favorite games. This particular article talks about the upcoming event Evo 2015. Evo is a huge gaming tournament that gamers worldwide go and compete in with games like Tekken, mortal kombat, super smash bros, and street fighter. A huge grand prize is won at this event and every winner gets much a ton of respect for winning a tournament like this. Tekken 7 will also be making a appearance on a arcade platform because it is not released officially yet for consoles.
Quotes: "This year's Evo will take place at the Bally’s / Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas from July 17-19, with discounted hotel rates available from the official booking site. "
"Thousands of players descended upon the Westgate Las Vegas Resort last year to compete for glory across eight games during Evo 2014. "
Reflection: As a gamer Evo is a very cool tournament to watch live streamed. There is very exciting thing about watching gamers fight in games that are so close and so intense. In fighting games like these the matches tend to be very close and come down to the wire, so seeing thousands of dollars be placed on a battle and then someone lose is very exciting and depressing. It is a very cool event and hopefully more games can be put in tournaments like this worldwide so we can gaming out there.

Albert, B. (Ed.). (2015, January 15). Uncharted 4 Won't Be 60 FPS If It Harms the 'Player Experience' - IGN. Retrieved January 16, 2015, from http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/01/15/uncharted-4-wont-be-60-fps-if-it-harms-the-player-experience

Summary of source: IGN is highly trusted gaming review and gaming central website. Home of TV show reviews, movie reviews, and amazing game play of over a 1000 games. IGN is a great place for gamers to go and view articles and videos of there favorite systems and games. This article in particular brings out the best in PlayStation highlighted there signature game. Uncharted, Naughty dog's beloved game that has led them to the top of the game developing world is on its way. Recently at the PlayStation experience we had seen our first look at game play for the game. As always the game stunned viewers looking as beautiful as ever, and as exciting as they all are. Naughty dog is now saying is that demo was actually ran at 30 fps and they might not be able to make it 60 fps as some of the newer games are doing. If 60 fps effects the gamers experience they will keep it at 30 fps and not take the risk. Last of us the last game naughty dog released was made at 60 fps so I'm sure they will figure out a way to make it work.

Quotes:
"Uncharted 4's game director Bruce Straley says the game won't run at 60 FPS if it harms the player's experience."

"For context, every PS3 Uncharted game ran at 30 FPS. The re-release of The Last of Us on PS4 ran at 60 FPS."

Reflection: Uncharted is honestly the best game to ever be created on any game console. I can count hundreds of people who agree with me and would never even question it. Naughty Dog could honestly run this game with tons of problems and it will still end up being the great uncharted games we have always known. Naughty dog I believe will find the way to make it run perfectly on 60 fps because if they can do it for the Last of us then being a similar type game it should work just fine. Uncharted 4 is coming soon and gamers including me are literally melting away just waiting for it. This is the game that puts PlayStation on the map, and the only game franchise that we can be proud about as a exclusive to Sony. Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Playstation 4 the best console ever?

Title: Gamespot
 http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ps4-sales-reach-18-5-million-units/1100-6424475/

Citation: Makuch, E. (Ed.). (2015, January 5). PS4 Sales Reach 18.5 Million Units. Retrieved January 6, 2015, from http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ps4-sales-reach-18-5-million-units/1100-6424475/

Summary: GameSpot is a very high trusted gaming company that reviews games,tv shows, and movies. Being mostly known for the game reviews and opinions on games GameSpot is a great site for gamers to go on and see what others might rate there favorite games or upcoming games they might want to be buying. In this specific article Playstation hit a record 18.5 million units of there new console the PlayStation 4 sold. Just in October this number was at 13.5 million going up a entire 5 million. Sony also has released there numbers for the PlayStation Plus subscribers being at 10.9 million. Sony has had a great year even with Xbox's November and December surge to top selling console for those months only due to the price cut of the Xbox. PlayStation has beaten out the Xbox every other month prior to November and December and is still ahead of most income total from there consoles.

Quotes:
"Sony has now sold more than 18.5 million PlayStation 4 units worldwide, the companyannounced today in a Japanese press release translated by Reuters. "

"In addition, Sony revealed that it now has 10.9 million PlayStation Plus subscribers, which is up from 7.9 million at the end of October 2014. "

Reflection: Being a huge PlayStation fan I am happy for Sony and what they have accomplished this year. Sony took a huge risk at last years E3 conference releasing there highly anticipated console for a very high 400 dollars and charging for there online services as they previously did not do before. Thankfully the 50 dollar online fee per year hasn't really made gamers mad and there are still a very high number of gamers playing online. Although I don't agree with Sony charging for there online play I am very happy the Playstation 4 is selling a lot of units and this is just giving me more competitive multiplayer to play worldwide.  Sony charging for multiplayer was the only negative idea in my mine because I thought that Sony always had the edge of Xbox because it didn't charge a large amount for online play. No matter what Im still a huge PlayStation gamer and if they want to empty my wallet ill be glad to do it.
